Our Services

Love’s House, LLC was established to provide Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services to the “transportation disadvantaged” because they cannot provide or purchase their own transportation.

Transportation

We offer door-to-door transportation stretcher, wheelchair, and ambulatory services to our patrons at their request. The Company is certified by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles to provide non-emergency medical transportation for individuals whose trips are arranged either:

• Through the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) or

• Through a broker operating under a contract with DMAS or

• Through a broker operating as a Medicaid Managed Care Organization contracted with DMAS to provide such transportation.

Vehicles

Our vehicles will be equipped to assist clients with on and off boarding, provide comfortable seating, and adequate storage of mobility devices such as wheelchairs and portable scooters. Customers that are ambulatory and able to walk may receive limited assistance, if requested. Our vehicles will be equipped with the following material and support services:

  • 34” Wide Manual Ramps, Additional Passenger Seating, Wheel Chair/Scooter Securement System

  • Accessible Rear Hatch, Short and Long Floor, 56’ Wide Rear Door Opening

  • Wheel Chair Storage , ADA Compliant Conversions

  • “ Wide Hydraulic Lift, Additional Passenger Seating, Wheel Chair/Scooter Securement System

  • State of the Art Stretcher Transport using the Ferno INX Integrated Patient Loading and Transport System and the Ferno Power Flex Plus

Safety First

As is customary in the industry, the vehicles are operated by qualified and licensed drivers who are employees of Love’s House, LLC. The company conducts a background check and drug test on each applicant prior to hiring and authorized to operate a company vehicle. Additionally, the company reviews each driver’s DMV report every year per insurance requirements. For any driver who does not meet the insurance requirements, the company will not allow that driver to operate company vehicles. Each driver also receives Passenger Assistance, Safety and Sensitivity training, Assisting passengers with Special Needs Training, defensive driving training, and CPR and First Aid Training every two years.
